Di-ethylhexyl phthalate . DEHP is the most commonly used phthalate and is a ubiquitous environmental contaminant. Phthalates are relatively persistent in the environment and have been detected in drinking water, soil, household dust, wildlife, fatty foods (meat and dairy products), human blood and breast milk.
