Thirty years of EU environmental legislation are critically assessed in a new reference handbook presented by the European Environmental Bureau on 3 November. In the presence of Environment Commissioner Dimas, the European Environmental Bureau presented its 350-page handbook on EU environmental policy. The book provides a detailed overview of 30 years of EU legislation in the environmental sphere. It aims to provide a guide to EU green laws for citizens' groups and decision-makers.
