บทคัดย่อ (Eng) :	The use of deinked pulp (DIP) in paper production is the most economical and ecological strategies for paper waste disposal. However, the deinked pulp processes generates a great amount of residues, and the higher the demand requirements for end products, the higher the amount of rejected materials. This is caused by the selectivity of the deinking processes such as coarse screening, floatation, etc. are limited. In order that some valuable components like fibers, fillers are lost in reject streams which affects the economics of recycled paper production. This review gives information about the amounts of reject streams and usable components in these steams. It also discusses the various means to use the reject steams and summarized as table.
บทคัดย่อ (ไทย) :	การผลิตกระดาษจากเยื่อกระดาษแยกหมึกพิมพ์ (deinked pulp) เป็นกลยุทธ์ที่ดีที่สุดสำหรับกำจัดเศษกระดาษใช้แล้วทั้งประหยัดและดีต่อระบบนิเวศน์ แต่การผลิตเยื่อกระดาษแยกหมึกพิมพ์จากกระดาษใช้แล้วทำให้เกิดของสารตกค้างจำนวนมาก รวมทั้งยิ่งต้องการผลิตภัณฑ์สุดท้ายที่มีคุณลักษณะสูงมากเท่าไร ยิ่งมีปริมาณวัสดุที่ถูกตีกลับสูงเท่านั้น เนื่องจากข้อจำกัดของความเฉพาะเจาะจงในกระบวนการแยกหมึกพิมพ์ เช่น การกรองหยาบ การลอยตะกอน (floatation) ที่ทำให้มีองค์ประกอบที่มียังมีคุณค่าบางอย่าง เช่น เส้นใย สารเติมแต่ง (fillers) สูญเสียออกไปกับส่วนที่แยกทิ้ง ซึ่งพบว่ามีผลต่อต้นทุนในการผลิตกระดาษแปรใช้ใหม่ (recycled paper) ดังนั้นหากสามารถนำองค์ประกอบที่ใช้ประโยชน์ได้เหล่านี้กลับมาใช้ได้ไม่ว่าจะใช้ในกระบวนการผลิตเองหรือนำไปใช้ด้านอื่น จึงเป็นการใช้ทรัพยากรในการผลิตอย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ บทปริทัศน์นี้สรุปสถานะล่าสุดโดยให้ข้อมูลปริมาณของเสียที่แยกทิ้งและปริมาณองค์ประกอบที่ยังมีประโยชน์ที่ถูกทิ้งออกไป และแนวทางการนำของเสียนี้ไปใช้ประโยชน์โดยทำสรุปในรูปตาราง
