บทคัดย่อ (Eng) :	The various new materials and products made available for kiln construction in the last few years (high-temp. fibers, special insulating bricks, mullite products, etc.) are listed and their application in kiln construction described, differentiating between continuous and periodic kiln. The noticeable improvement in the specific energy consumption is expressed in figures. The considerably improved temp. uniformity is also mentioned
บทคัดย่อ (ไทย) :	วัตถุดิบตัวใหม่ที่มีความหลากหลายและผลิตภัณฑ์สำหรับงานก่อสร้างเตาเผาในช่วง 2-3 ปี ล่าสุดนี้ (ใช้อุณหภูมิสูง เส้นใย อิฐฉนวนชนิดพิเศษ ผลิตภัณฑ์แร่ธาตุ และอื่นๆ) ถูกนำมาใช้อธิบายการใช้ประโยชน์จากงานก่อสร้างเตาเผา ซึ่งมีความแตกต่างระหว่างเตาเผาที่เผาอย่างต่อเนื่องตลอดเวลา (continuous kiln) และเตาชนิดที่เผาเป็นครั้งคราว (periodic kiln) จากข้อสังเกตและมีการนำมาปรับปรุงจึงทำให้ได้ค่าดัชนีชี้วัดประสิทธิภาพพลังงาน (specific energy consumption) ออกมา โดยเน้นปรับปรุงอุณหภูมิและมีการกล่าวถึงการทำให้เป็นหน่วยเดียวกัน (uniformity)
