บทคัดย่อ (Eng) :	An article of tableware comprises a surface for holding food or drink, a layer of phase-change material that is capable of being in a super – cooled state at room temp. (25º) and that is in thermal contact with the surface the phase change layer, which may be secured in a recess. An initiator is provided for initiating the solidification of the phase change material, when in a super-cooled state, so that the heat given out heats the tableware. The thickness of the layer of phase-change material does not exceed 6 mm so that the phase-change material can be regenerated using a std. 65º dishwasher cycle. The method is applicable to plates, mugs, bowls, place mats, or warming trays of glazed ceramic material or glass, optionally with a plastic thermal insulation on the bottom
