บทคัดย่อ (ไทย) :	ผู้ผลิตเซรามิกและผู้ส่งวัตถุดิิบควรคำนึงถึงข้อกำหนดด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม เศรษฐกิจ และการประกันคุณภาพ เนื่องจากเป็นที่ทราบโดยทั่วไปว่าการใช้งานอย่างมากมายจากแหล่งพลังงานที่เป็นวัตถุดิบซึ่งสามารถแตกตัวได้ (fissile) จะทำให้เกิดปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมซึ่งไม่สามารถคาดเดาผลกระทบที่จะเกิดตามมาได้ ดังนั้นทุกอุตสาหกรรมจึงมีข้อผูกมัดในเรื่องการประหยัดพลังงาน เพื่อลดการปล่อยก๊าซพิษ เช่น คาร์บอนไดออกไซด์ ออกไซด์ของไนโตรเจน ในปัจจุบันเทคนิคการเผาที่มีประสิทธิภาพมากที่สุดคือการเผาเร็ว ซึ่งทำให้เซรามิกได้รับการเผาด้วยระยะเวลาที่เหมาะสม เช่น วงจรการเผาที่สั้น การใช้พลังงานน้อย ประสิทธิภาพสูง และมีความเป็นไปได้ในการใช้เทคโนโลยีเหล่านี้อย่างเหมาะสมตามข้อกำหนดในการกำจัดของเสีย ยกตัวอย่าง fluorine absorption units ,thermal post-combustion เป็นต้น
บทคัดย่อ (Eng) :	The producers of ceramics and their suppliers have to comply with the requirements of ecol., economy, and quality assurance. It is generally known that intensive utilization of fissile energy resoures will cause environmental problems with unpredictable consequences. Therefore, every industrial enterprise is committed to use energy sparingly to minimize the ejection of noxious gases (e.g. Co2, NOx, etc.). At present the most efficient firing technique is fast firing which allows ceramic products to be fired optimally with a min. of encumbrances-e.g. short firing cycles, low energy consumption, high efficiency, as well as the possibility to perform these technologies in harmony with disposal requirements (fluorine absorption units ,thermal post-combustion , etc.).
